  • Specific goals or results.
  • Scope, Budget and Timelines.
  • Involves planning, resources, teamwork, stakeholder engagement.

Think of it as different from your everyday routine" that you work on for a specific outcome.


Let's talk about few examples to understand from daily routine and from business point.

Daily Life Examples

1. Planning a Birthday Party

Goal: Celebrate someone’s birthday.

Start & End: Planning starts weeks before, ends after the party.

Tasks: Book venue, invite people, buy cake, decorate.

Project vs Routine Work

Routine Work: Things you do over and over, like answering emails or opening the shop every morning etc.

Project Work: Something unique, like remodeling your store or launching a new product line.
